Saturday 16th March
Nothing very interesting to say again I’m afraid. Today we have travelled 8 miles and 1 lock from Fradley to Hopwas on the Coventry Canal. We are moored just before the school. It rained most of the day but after last year we are well used to travelling in wet conditions!
When we were mooring up Ken stepped off the boat straight into a huge pile of dog poo, aaaargh one of my absolute pet hates, filthy dog owners!
There were two boy’s football teams in the Red Lion when we got there, they had just played a semi-final match, so the place was overrun with proud parents and sweaty, muddy little boys, bless!
