Sat 28th and Sun 29th March
After our long and strenuous day on Friday we decided to stay at Kilby Bridge for at least Saturday. We found out it was not far to Wigston Magna and walked there on Saturday morning. This took about 25 minutes and was mostly downhill!
Wigston Magna is a suburb of Leicester and has a good shopping centre and market. It also has a Wetherspoons which we had to sample naturally! We had done a few bits of shopping and for no other reason than that we could we went back to Kilby Bridge on the bus. By the time the bus had weaved it’s way round all the housing estates in the vicinity it would have been quicker to walk!
Sunday was a lazy, getting up late, doing nothing day as the weather was a bit grim.
