Progress Update

Here I am again with the latest exciting news!

Just got back fromThurmaston where we had to have a double visit this time. Monday with Martin, nice to see him looking so well following his recent heart bypass op and Tuesday with Mark and Rachel. Mark was unavailable Monday due to a leak (his water pipes not him personally!) and Rach got roped in to help him clear up.

We discussed the wiring and spray foam insulation (make sure you look at the very interesting pics in the gallery!) I’m sure you find this all absolutely fascinating!

We go again in 3 weeks time when I am hoping ‘Waveney’ will be painted. We have chosen red as our main colour with a cream roof and panelling and black hand rail and piping round the panels.  These colours are not very commonly used. Most boats seem to be predominantly blue or green. We are also going to have a marsh harrier painted on one side and a barn owl on the other. She will look really smart!

We had a lovely walk round the waterpark again. It is a great place for dog walking and bird watching. It also provides an attractive route to get to the ‘Hope and Anchor’, marvellous!

More soon….

Cheers B. xx
