Now that Spring is fully underway the seagull population in the docks has woken up with a vengeance. They wheel about squawking and crapping on the boat all day! I&#8217;m not cleaning it up until we go down the canal though!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><strong> Since we moored up we seem to have been doing nothing but shopping! <\/strong><\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><strong>Ken\u00a0wanted new walking boots\u00a0so on Tuesday we went to\u00a0Mountain Warehouse where he found what he wanted. While we were in there I somehow gained a waterproof coat, a pair of trousers and a t shirt! <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><strong>We took that lot back to the boat and set off again for the market where we\u00a0got olives, cherry peppers, sun dried tomatoes, basil and a nice piece of cod, not necessarily to be eaten all together!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><strong>Today we have been up to the DIY shop in Bristol Rd for more replacement cupboard door handles. We have already done the wardrobe ones and eventually I want to change\u00a0the whole lot\u00a0but they only had 4 of the ones I want so we got those for the kitchen cupboards and the drawer. They are a fairly standard type so hopefully we will be able to pick up the rest from elsewhere. <\/strong><\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><strong>On the way back we went to Sainsbury&#8217;s for a few essentials (beer).<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>We are supposed to be moving on tomorrow but it is so windy and is forecast to be worse tomorrow we may not be able to go.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday 17th March\u00a0&#8211; Wednesday 19th March Monday we made our way back to Gloucester and moored in our favourite place by the lightship.
