Last night we\u00a0went for\u00a0a drink with Terry and had a lovely evening. We did\u00a0exceed the stated though and we\u00a0didn&#8217;t get home until nearly midnight (very unusual for us!) but we were still up and about this morning as usual. We left Mountsorrel bathed in brilliant sunshine. Sunshine which stayed with us all day. As I was on lock duty, sometimes I was even a bit too hot!\u00a0I know, there&#8217;s no pleasing some people!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">We were amazed to find no one moored at the facilities in Barrow when we got there, so we could use them straight away. Wonders will never cease! We\u00a0stopped in Loughborough so Ken could make a trip to B &amp; Q for essential DIY supplies. As we approached The Albion we decided George needed to go for a pint so we stopped there as well. The &#8216;Iron Maiden&#8217; was a little on the warm side but ok. The toilets, however, were a bit dodgy! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">I had a bit of trouble with Loughborough Town Lock today, being unable to open it, for Ken to get in, he had to help me.\u00a0Then being\u00a0unable to close it after he had gone out, a man appeared from a nearby garden to assist! There were also a couple of strange teenagers wandering about there, going on about Rosie and Jim!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">We arrived at Zouch (pronounced Zotch) by\u00a0late afternoon, moored up\u00a0and spent the early evening sitting out on the bank in the sun &#8211; marvellous!
