Firstly we stopped off in Rugeley for supplies. We\u00a0winkled our way\u00a0into the last\u00a0mooring just before the bridge, where they were supposed to end, according to the Nicholson&#8217;s &#8211;\u00a0only to find loads of brand new, empty\u00a0ones\u00a0further on when we walked to the town, typical!\u00a0 Anyway we spent a couple of hours looking round the shops &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. Oh, all right, we did happen to stumble across a Wetherspoon&#8217;s and with Rollercoaster at \u00a31-75 a pint it would have been churlish not to! We did go to the shops as well mind. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">After this expedition we decided to move on and find a mooring for the night. By now it was REALLY windy, not good for narrowboating.\u00a0Only a little while\u00a0later we found a lovely spot! Just past Brindley&#8217;s bank over the aquaduct.\u00a0There are moorings on both sides of the canal here &#8211; just as well as when Ken tried to moor on the left hand side\u00a0he got blown over on to the right hand side! Nevermind it&#8217;s ok here, the view is the same! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">As it was still quite early we decided to try and get George out for a constitutional. We had a really nice walk and he went like a train as it happens.\u00a0It had got out\u00a0quite hot by then, despite the wind and he was struggling a bit by the time we got back as he hadn&#8217;t had his mid walk rest at the pub, much to his disgust!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">I have ressurrected my old camera, so there are a few photos again!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tuesday 20th April We have travelled the vast distance of 2.5 miles today!
