Sunday 10th May<\/p>\n
Today we had another of our now usual early starts and left before 8am. We have come to Bridge 5, Bulking Road Bridge which is about a mile from the end of the Ashby at Marston Junction.<\/p>\n
Although we had just been to Nuneaton but only for football watching purposes we had to go again today for shopping.<\/p>\n
We managed to catch the bus just before 12pm. We did our shopping and then did the usual.<\/p>\n
When we were waiting for the return bus Ken discovered that he had lost his little wallet containing his bus pass, senior railcard and fishing license.<\/p>\n
A fruitless search of his entire person and rucksack yielded nothing. As luck would have it an administration error at Waveney District Council meant he has a spare pass. Even more lucky was the fact that I actually had it with me.<\/p>\n
So he got back to the boat for free.<\/p>\n
