Happy St George’s Day! Talking of George, it has become apparent that his claw is coming off, aaargh! It is sticking out at an alarming angle and seems to be loose. He can walk alright by not putting that side of his foot on the ground and generally he is ok but I am afraid he is going to catch it on something and rip it off, aaargh! I have been bathing his foot in salt water every time he has been outside to try and stop him getting an infection in it and we are hoping for the best. If anything untoward happens we will have to get him a vet obviously.
After ministering to George’s foot this morning Ken and I walked to Watford. It was a pleasant walk of about a mile through Cassiobury Park, apart from the fact that it started raining! It has been raining ever since actually! Watford town centre is much like any other town centre and we did the usual things.
Barbara is off tomorrow and will return on Thursday, we may be here for the duration or we may move on a bit, that has yet to be decided.
