Another bus trip, another town. Today we have been to ……… Bedworth, ta da! Having been to Nuneaton 3 times in the last week we thought we would try Bedworth for a change. We had passed through it a couple of times on the bus already so we knew there was a large Tesco there and as we just LOVE shopping off we went.
We caught the 778 bus again, like yesterday and this time the fare was only £2-90, not sure why it was so much cheaper than going to Nuneaton but that was a bonus anyway! The only notable incident during this trip was the fact that a lady who got on the bus at Bedworth had left two of her bags of shopping in the bus shelter! She was in the paper shop when the bus came, ran across the road and got on the bus. She thought the chap she was with had picked the bags up, but he hadn’t because he had 3 of his own. Another bloke at the back of the bus noticed the bags were still at the shelter and let her know. The bus driver had to stop so she could run back and get them!
Just after we returned to the boat the boat behind us left. Then I realised that, actually, every time we have come back since we have been here the boat behind us has left within minutes! Something we said?
Having run out of room in the fridge and under the dinette, as a result of our recent shopping exploits and having caught up with the washing, tomorrow we are finally making a move, probably to Brinklow.
