Tuesday 1st April
My computer has been out of action for the best part of a week due to some viruses picked up from God know’s where (Facebook is a prime suspect though)! I am now frantically Virus and Malware scanning, Crap Cleaning and Spy Botting like a woman possessed every time I use it!
Since I last wrote we have had a lovely weekend with Mum and Dave and Julian and Abby which included a trip round The National Waterways Museum in the docks, a cruise up the canal to Frampton and back, a nice Italian meal at Topoly’s and copious amounts of alcoholic beverage!
Yesterday we finally left Gloucester, after 6 months and travelled up the Severn to Lower Lode where we spent the night moored at the Lower Lode Inn. We went in for dinner which we had to share with resident Basset Hounds Blessing and Bangle and a ginger cat called Marmalade!
Today we have travelled 7 miles and Upper Lode Lock from Lower Lode to Upton on Severn and are moored on the pontoon moorings with Alan on Florence E who left Gloucester on Sunday. We are going to Worcester tomorrow where we will have a look at the marina at Diglis Basin for future reference.
