New Prop Tomorrow

Monday 27th June

After another phone call to the insurance company this morning we have got the go ahead to get our prop fixed. It turns out they only need one estimate and as I laid it on thick about not being able to move the boat they speeded the process up a bit and phoned me back this afternoon saying it was ok to get the prop done..

So tomorrow morning we are going back up the boat lift and taking the boat in to Anderton Marina to be done. Hopefully it will only take a couple of hours as we have got to wander around with George while the boat is in the dry dock.

Talking of George, his lumpy face has gone back to normal, well as normal as his face ever is! We think he must have woken up, shook his head and bashed the side of his face on the shelf or something making it swell up. Anyway it has gone down again so that’s ok.

We have had precisely one and a half days of a heatwave here. Yesterday and up until lunchtime today it was hot. Since lunchtime today it has been – yes, raining! Normal North West service has been resumed.
