Friday 9th September
It has been a lovely day today, warm and not windy with a fair amount of sun, hurrah! Apparently tomorrow is going to be nice too, then there will be a return to the old wet and windy again, great!
We arrived in Anderton about 2 pm having travelled 10 miles, 1 stop lock and 3 tunnels from Higher Walton. B and B are having alternator trouble so when we got here they went off to see Danny at Anderton Marina about it and we went off with George to the Stanley Arms! B and B joined us later and said Danny had said he would see what he could do about their alternator. So with it being the weekend we may be here a few days until he can fit them in.
As it is supposed to be nice tomorrow I am going to slap a bit of paint on the bits of the boat that it has disappeared from already!
